Denise McCauley
Denise received her BA in English Literature and French from the University of Pittsburgh. Her love of language and song then led her to study Theater Arts at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago, where she received a Master of Fine Arts degree. Denise’s three sons were born in Chicago and they all attended the Waldorf School there. Upon moving to Michigan in 1996, Denise stayed involved in theater, acting in many productions at the Meadow Brook Theatre, as well as teaching speech and drama at Oakland Steiner. She is a graduate of the Spacial Dynamics training with Jaimen McMillan, and decided to move her focus from the stage to the classroom. She received her Waldorf Teacher Certification from the Waldorf Institute of the Great Lakes and began teaching her class in 2004.
