ADULT EURYTHMY CLASS

Dear Parents and Friends of Oakland Steiner School,

I have the privilege of teaching your children eurythmy for five weeks this fall--it is going wonderfully--I hope you may have heard from your child or teacher about our work!

Eurythmy is absolutely unique to the Waldorf School, and there may be some of you interested in gaining a bit of insight into what it is all about. And there may be some hoping to renew their acquaintance with it. So I am offering to work with interested adults.

A movement art related to modern dance, and totally different, eurythmy seeks to help us connect with our movement instruments in a better, free way; it facilitates finding each other in a stream of motion; and employs this stream to let music and poetry appear in motion. We would be dipping into all three areas in our work. It will be refreshing, renewing and interesting! It has been said that eurythmy is the “sauce” of Waldorf education, bringing it all together in a harmonious whole.

Come and experience what it is all about!
