Join Us Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 8:30 am to 1: 30 pm for an
All-School Planning Workshop
We invite currently enrolled families to join us.
Each spring, the Oakland Steiner School faculty and Board of Trustees members have held a workshop to discuss important topics that affect the well being of the school. For this year’s meeting, we would like to extend an invitation to parents to join us for this workshop as a way to engage in a broader community dialogue.
The theme for this year’s workshop is “Planning for our Future” and the agenda will be focused on discussing ideas that will strengthen our school and, importantly, provide input to our strategic plan.
The workshop will be held at our school and is planned for Saturday, April 18th. Coffee and refreshments will be available at 8:30 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. The meeting is scheduled to end at 12:30 p.m. at which point we can enjoy a lunch together, courtesy of Chef Zach.
If you would like to attend this workshop, we are asking for your active participation, we would like your feedback on the following questions:
1. What originally made you come to Oakland Steiner School?
2. What keeps you here?
3. What are the top three ways we can strengthen the school?
Your input on these questions is very important, as it will serve to help structure the agenda and the group breakout sessions during the meeting. Even if you are unable to attend the workshop, your feedback on these questions is welcomed and encouraged. Please note that childcare will not be provided as part of this workshop.
Please use this link to complete the survey online.
Please RSVP by April 2nd using the form below or signing up at school.
If you have any questions about this workshop, please contact Aaron Rajda or Joe Urda.
Thank you,
The Oakland Steiner School Board of Trustees
